                                                      CUSTOMER RETURN, REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY

 

The following Customer Return, Refund or Exchange Agreement Policy is in effect and applies to all “Customer Products” sold by Great Lakes Trophies & Engraving.  Please feel free to direct all questions and inquires related to this Policy to our management at 32635 Ford Road, Garden City, MI 48135.

Customer Orders and Returns
All orders for Customer Products are received, manufactured and process in accordance with the specifications laid out in the “Customer Order Form”. Each trophy and award is designed, assembled and personalized with specific engraving and/or sublimation, as required by Customer. As such, all awards and customer products, which were manufactured in accordance with customer specifications, are non-refundable as of the date of purchase.   

In the event of any error with said engraving, sublimation or other customer specifications, resulting from incorrect information provided by Great Lakes to manufacturer, or incorrect engraving, assembly or product defect from the manufacturer, which has been brought to Great Lakes attention within 15 days of  Customers receipt of its Product, Great Lakes shall immediately return the Product back to the manufacture and request the manufacturer to provide a replacement Product conforming to the specifications agreed to by the parties. Customer acknowledges that there is No Refund for any said error or defect and that Customers sole remedy is to receive a “replacement” product made in accordance with the specifications set forth in the Customer Order Form.

Prior to processing or submitting an order, a Customer Order Forms will be submitted to the Customer as a “Proof” to verify all engraving, sublimation and other specifications, via PDF or other image format through e-mail. Customer must verify and sign off on the Proof before any engraving, personalization or other Product specifications will be performed. Customers delay or failure to verify that said Proof accurately depicts all requested engraving, sublimation or other specifications may cause an untimely delay in processing their order. Customer acknowledges that an order for any Customer Product will not be processed until the Customer Order Form or Proof has been completed, acknowledged and/or signed by the Customer and received by Great Lakes by way of hard copy print-out, or through e-mail or fax.

If a return is authorized for a Customer Product purchased on line, the Customer will be issued a return merchandise authorization number, (“RMA”).  The RMA must appear on the outside of the package containing the Customer Product being shipped back to Great Lakes. Shipments received without an RMA will not be accepted by our shipping department and will be returned unopened to the sender.

Any returns accepted by Great Lakes which do meet the above stated procedure are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and all shipping charges assessed are non-refundable. The restocking fee and shipping charges will be deducted from the credit issued back to Customers credit cards and/or issued as checks that are cut as a result of the return, before the credit is issued. The amount of the credit will be less the restocking fee and applicable shipping charges.

Returned Checks/Disputed Credit Card Transactions:
Customer acknowledges that there will be a $35.00 service charge for all returned checks. In the event of a returned check, Customer will be assessed the $35.00 service charge fee which must be paid, along with the outstanding balance  by way of a “certified check” drawn on Customer’s bank. There is also a $35.00 late payment fee for any disputed credit card transaction, which shall also be paid by way of certified or bank check, and a finance charge equaling a rate of 1.5% per month will be assessed on all disputed credit card transaction until payment is received in full.

Pricing Changes/Product Upgrades:
Great Lakes reserves the right to modify the pricing provided with or without notice. Upon any changes in pricing, Customer will be notified of the pricing change and have the opportunity to cancel their order within 10 days of their knowledge of the changes in pricing. Great Lakes reserves the right, at any time during the ordering or manufacturing process, to return said item and any monies pre-paid for that item to the Customer. Great Lakes also reserve the right to upgrade or substitute an Product that was ordered with a larger or costlier Product at no additional charge.

Product Pick-Up After 30 Days:
Please note that any unclaimed Products or orders may be sold at auction, or discarded permanently.  Please contact us soon in order to prevent this from happening to your order or items you may have left in our possession.
